Thankyou for your support, Connie. I appreciate it. I was going to say something about the downvotes against me before you commented here again, but then I thought, 'what's the use ?'. It will only get downvoted, as probably this comment will too. I don't care anymore. Downvote to your heart's content. I know that I haven't done or said anything to be ashamed about. And I don't harbour any animosity towards you or your downvotes either, I still value you as a person and someone that can be useful to society. I don't like to dwell on people's bad points, but rather look for the potential of others. If only others here could be like that on this site, then we wouldn't have all of this negative commentary around here. Thankyou again, Connie. I think your plea (and mine also) though will fall upon deaf ears here, sadly... :(

As I look on this page, I feel sadness. PictureGirl has never ever said anything at anytime that was the least offensive to anyone! So, why are all her extremely harmless comments getting downvoted? If, it's because she's communicating with him, that is evil and sick. It saddens me that you are downvoting her comments, but you are hurting her, and that is reprehensible. Come after me - go to all my uploads and downvote them...if you wish to satisfy/feed your revenge for whatever reason, but please have the decency to leave PictureGirl alone.

The honeymooners are couple to Canada in a couple of weeks. Hohum zzzzzzzz ;-)
2011-06-13 01:10:27
Yes, that is right, Connie. And some people and groups still would like to change to a Republic here. I think that the recent wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton might of postponed that change for a little while though....

Oh, I know that Australia is still part of the Commonwealth, but we had heard that some in Australia ie politicians and groups want to get rid of Queen Liz as head of state. Many in Canada want to do the same.
2011-06-12 09:15:47
No, not as yet, Connie. We still are under a Monarchy...
2011-06-12 09:05:55
Australia has a national holiday on Queen Lilibeth's birthday!! Didn't Australia almost voted to get out of the Commonwealth, or am I mistaken?
2011-06-12 08:03:04
No Connie. I am referring to Queen Elizabeth II....
2011-06-12 07:23:38
Your reference to the Queen's Birthday. Are you referring to Queen Victoria? We celebrate her birthday on May 23 as Victoria's a national holiday.
2011-06-12 04:12:37
Thankyou Connie. Hope you're having a good day and weekend. We have a long weekend here. Tomorrow (Monday) is the Queen's Birthday holiday. Take care....

Don't worry about that PG. The cheaters are just protecting their 'territory' ;-)
2011-06-12 03:47:29
I'm very sorry about that, Connie. And I'm sorry also that by commenting again before this comment, that it has made your post come down in votes. I did not mean for that to happen.
2011-06-12 03:33:48
PictureGirl - Unfortunaly, you or anyone who dares use his/her own username to communicate with me and being kind, or even just polite, is guaranteed to get to have their comments downvoted.
2011-06-11 03:42:15
Would someone please tell me why my comments have been downvoted here ? Is it because I have chosen to speak to Connie and have been nice to her and have tried to help her ? The problems you seem to have with Connie are YOUR problems, not mine. I don't wish to share in them, thankyou. I speak to everyone here regardless and no matter what and I hope that I do so in a kind and proper manner. Thanks for your time everyone and I do hope that you will all have a wonderful weekend.... PictureGirl.... (Mary)

I'm glad that you were able to post more photos, Connie. They are all very pretty too. I find if I send Simone emails, she will respond quite quickly. I find that sending her an email during my night, will ensure that she sees my email quickly because it would be day over there where she is....
2011-06-06 05:45:19
I was just able to post three more. It's a hit and miss thing - very unstable. It's no use sending Pixdaus an e-mail...they don't respond.

Puppy Size 'Danielle keeps repeating it over and over again. We've been back to this animal shelter at least five times. It has been weeks now since we started all of this,' the mother told the volunteer. 'What is it she keeps asking for?' the volunteer asked. 'Puppy size!' replied the mother. 'Well, we have plenty of puppies, if that's what she's looking for.' 'I know..... we have seen most of them,' the mom said in frustration... Just then Danielle came walking into the office 'Well, did you find one?' asked her mom. 'No, not this time,' Danielle said with sadness in her voice. 'Can we come back on the weekend?' The two women looked at each other, shook their heads and laughed. 'You never know when we will get more dogs. Unfortunately, there's always a supply,' the volunteer said. Danielle took her mother by the hand and headed to the door. 'Don't worry, I'll find one this weekend,' she said. Over the next few days, both Mom and Dad had long conversations with her. They both felt she was being too particular. 'It's this weekend or we're not looking any more,' Dad finally said in frustration. 'We don't want to hear anything more about puppy size, either,' Mom added. Sure enough, they were the first ones in the shelter on Saturday morning. By now Danielle knew her way around, so she ran right for the section that housed the smaller dogs. Tired of the routine, mom sat in the small waiting room at the end of the first row of cages. There was an observation window so you could see the animals during times when visitors weren't permitted. Danielle walked slowly from cage to cage, kneeling periodically to take a closer look. One by one the dogs were brought out and she held each one. One by one she said, 'Sorry, but you're not the one.' It was the last cage on this last day in search of the perfect pup. The volunteer opened the cage door and the child carefully picked up the dog and held it closely. This time she took a little longer. 'Mom, that's it! I found the right puppy! He's the one! I know it!' She screamed with joy. 'It's the puppy size!' 'But it's the same size as all the other puppies you held over the last few weeks,' Mom said. 'No, not size. The sighs. When I held him in my arms, he sighed,' she said. 'Don't you remember? When I asked you one day what love is, you told me love depends on the sighs of your heart. The more you love, the bigger the sigh!' The two women looked at each other for a moment. Mom didn't know whether to laugh or cry. As she stooped down to hug the child, she did a little of both. 'Mom, every time you hold me, I sigh. When you and Daddy come home from work and hug each other, you both sigh. I knew I would find the right puppy if it sighed when I held it in my arms,' she said. Then, holding the puppy up close to her face, she said, 'Mom, he loves me. I heard the sighs of his heart!' For all of you - I hope your life is filled with Sighs!!! Note: For those whose English is their 2nd language - Size and Sighs sounds the same.

I'm sorry you are having this problem, Connie. I would email Pixdaus and ask them what the problem could be. It seems strange that you are not able to post under 'Connie' anymore. If that is the case, then Pixdaus should've sent you an email, warning you of this so that you know where you stand here. Hope you can rectify this problem soon....
2011-06-06 01:34:04
That's exactly correct ;-) Strange thing, after I posted the photo of the angry mamma cat, I couldn't upload another one. If I try to post a photo under Connie, I can't. But, if I try to post one under another name, I can. Sooooo, I think that Pixdaus is blocking me - probably because photographers have complained. I always put their names under the caption/title, so when they do a search they find out who is posting their photos on Pixdaus. It's too bad because there are two more photos I wanted to post.
2011-06-06 01:09:06
That is very kind of you to say, Connie. I thankyou for that. The photo under SalemM probably got more votes because the voter didn't realise that it was you that posted it....
2011-06-05 20:41:40
Thank you PG - you're one heck of a nice person. Funny thing is that the 2nd photo I posted, under SalemM, of those cemetery felines got a lot of votes. This one, under Connie, got only one vote ;-)
2011-06-05 06:43:54
I've put both photos into my favourites, Connie... :)

If you have Firefox, then you go to Tools on the top left side of the window, go to options, and choose, content and there you can fix the size of the font. Chrome and all other browsers will have something similar to help with the font size. I'm sorry that your votes have gone down, Connie. Maybe you shouldn't of said that SalemM is you. I like these 2 photos of the cats you've posted here. The cats are really beautiful.....
2011-06-05 06:36:59
I posted another photo under SalemM of those cemetery felines. That should make the cat lovers happy ;-)
2011-06-05 05:51:48
Thanks PictureGirl. My whole computer's texts have shrunk, the icons on my homepage, Pixdaus, etc. Hee hee I don't even know what a brower setting is ( Funny thing, the two other photos I posted under SalemM were getting high votes, and this one started to go up. Then, I made a comment under one of them that SalemM was me, then watched the votes go down down ;-) Another proof that the votes are more for the person than the photo.
2011-06-05 04:27:36
It looks the same to me, Connie. If you're not aware of this already, you can alter the text size of the pages you visit with your browser settings if that's any help to you....
2011-06-05 02:44:35
Am I going slowly blind or simply needing new glasses, but the text on this site has shrunk!!
