because we've seen that pictures many times ... first time - like 3 years ago or so ... anyway, shouldn't the dark side be on the left side of the border? I mean ... it seems that the darkness comes from east, not west ...

seriously, this image is old, but looking again it is wonderful. the change from sub-Saharan Africa into the western Sahara then into Morrocco is amazing. and i love the snowy mountains in Norway. (are you there anne in your igloo?) and it looks like Milano is waaaay too populated. the intensity on the coast of Nigeria is a bit disturbing...
