I always try to find & give info on the image . patito is correct , after seeing his / her comment , i checked it out .....the reservoirs were constructed between 1892 and 1903 to supply water to Birmingham 73 miles away . the reservoirs are a chain of man-made lakes and reservoirs in the Elan Valley in Powys, Mid Wales (also known as the "Welsh Lake District"), using the rivers Elan and Claerwen. The reservoirs are Claerwen, Craig Goch, Pen-y-Garreg, Garreg Ddu, and Caban Coch. this photo is of craig goch .
