I don't see how people climb it, I fear high places to much to do that.

One of the few pictures I've seen that captures the immensity and majesty of El Capitan. At approximately 3,000 Ft. in height, it was first climbed in 1958 with the team taking 47 days to make the ascent. Today, the record for speed climbing El Capitan stands at less than 3 hours (using aids), and free climbing (no aids) it in less than a day (23 hours).
