Was that Hugh Hefner or Huge Heifer ? Coretta Scott King had so much more real class, character and courage than most of Dr. King's detractors that there is really no basis for comparison.

Coretta Scott King's favorite show during the 60's was "My Favorite Martin" (bah dah bum!). OK, I'll stop channeling Patito now. Actually, in fact (really and truly) the King family's favorite TV show was Star Trek due to its forward-looking view of "colored" people (that term was in, then out, then in again - what is it now?). At any rate, MLK personally convinced Nichelle Nichols to remain on Star Trek because of the symbolic role she played on the show. All this can be checked out on or Wikipedia, etc. :-)

It's Martin, actually. The word 'Martian,' in English, means "of or relating to the planet Mars or its supposed inhabitants."
