Christian Viewpoint wrote: "The comments here have not been voted on (up or down) except for the one by K9 Poster. This was a rather simple comment, thanking DANIS for his and stating a couple of facts. No reason that it should be voted on at all, much less voted down." K9 Poster's comment was far from simple. It would have been simple had she merely thanked DANIS, but she went on to complain about the downvotes for her picture and then added what Christian Viewpoint calls "a fact": the downvoting was apparently done by premium members. I am not a premium member and I don't post pictures, I just come here to view them and sometimes I read comments and occasionally write a few. K9 Poster's statement that her 1st comment received a single downvote of -15 is incorrect. When I saw it, it had -7 votes, and I was tempted to add my -1 vote to it because I felt that her "facts" were not in keeping with the Christmas spirit. But, if I had done it, I would have committed the same error in judgement, so I just upvoted the picture and left. It could well be that the downvoters of the comment had the same reaction to it as I did... I wish thank all the people who post the wonderful pictures here. It must be a time-consuming effort to find the photos and then post them. Merry Christmas to everyone!

I didn't say that I had proof Neutral Viewpoint, however the downvotes came as -3's in quick order and that is very good circumstantial evidence. As for the comment it was downvoted at one time with a single vote of -15. Not 15 votes of -1 or 5 of -3 or a combination of the two, again this is more than circumstantial evidence of voting by a single user.

Christian Viewpoint - K9 Poster comment got downvoted perhaps because of accusing Premium Users of downvoting - without proof.

Well said Kodak Jack! We all need to respect each other's religions and culture. If down-voting is because of religion, it's not right.

World View is very incorrect in this matter. This photo was not voted down because of Christmas views nor because of the picture itself. Votes seldom, if ever, reflect on the photo itself. K9 Poster is getting downvotes simply because K9 Poster uploaded them. This happens no matter what he/she uploads and the subject matter or photo quality seems to make no difference. Based on the time of day when the downvotes occur, they are coming out of the western hemisphere .... the Christian world and they do seem to be coming from premium users. There are a group of at least 4 to 6 that vote together in a block. I have a pretty good idea as to who they are, and I could name them but will decline doing that right now. The comments here have not been voted on (up or down) except for the one by K9 Poster. This was a rather simple comment, thanking DANIS for his and stating a couple of facts. No reason that it should be voted on at all, much less voted down. The -17 votes that it has received are very suspect. I think they were done by a single user and I know of only one user that has shown an ability to do that. Please keep on posting K9 Poster and ignore the minority that are out to discourage you. I, for one, like and appreciate your uploads.

I don't know if shooting at animals is instinctive in young human males or not, but wanting to and being able to kill animals large and small has been an adaptive trait in our species for a very long time. In the culture I grew up in that behavior was pretty much universal. We couldn't wait to get bb guns, then 22's. So don't feel bad. You were just doing what came naturally, and as for the Chuhuahua, they were raised as food in Meso America long before they became pets, so his genes were correct in telling him to be wary of you.

We had a Chihuahua when I was a child. My parents bought my brother a Chihuahua because they were supposedly helpful to those that suffered from asthma. They said my brother's asthma did get better. But that Chihuahua always hated me. Reason was, I got a toy tank for Christmas that would shoot plastic bullets; and I would fire away at him when he was in range. No physical harm, they just scared him. Till time he died he never forgave me. I felt so rotten.

In fact, World View, almost 40% of Pixdaus users live in either the US, Canada, Australia or the UK. The US alone accounts for over 27% of users. Add the users from the non-English speaking but nominally Christian countries of Western Europe and you have well over half of all users who live in countries with a tradition of celebrating Christmas. And in all those countries even non-Christians embrace the spirit of the Holidays, since they're a great time to give and receive gifts, hang out with friends and family, eat good food, drink a lot, be festive, make merry, and watch football bowl games on tv. If you live in a non-Western country or are a member of a non-Christian culture, it's perfectly undestandable that you might not wish to embrace or celebrate Christmas. Celebrate your own holidays in your own way with your own people and have fun. That's fine with us. But there is no reason or justification for your resentment. Peace.

This photo was downvoted, K9 Poster, because Pixdaus is a worldwide Internet site with only a small portion that practice Christianity and the Christmas tradition. The rest of us resent these ideas and values being pushed on us at this time of year.

Merry Christmas to you and your family my friend.
