Cats are the most perfect animals. Tiny self contained killing machines, yet affectionate, warm cuddly . . . and they purr.
Just seeing pictures of cats can lower blood pressure. Having a cat in a nursing home has a huge effect on the health of the inmates.
But . . . they do not take orders, and they worship no one. That, I think, accounts for the hatred that controlling manipulative people have for cats.
