You're being nitpicky fuzzy wuzzy. Jacksparrow knows exactly what he was saying. He and his peers were sitting around talking about his very excellent photoshop, while sitting among the pier's surroundings he happens owns.

He said it was photographed in the daytime and he did the rest with photoshop. Needless to say he was highly commended for his work among his pier's.
