Actually, Abe, over in Louisiana they got the famous Plaquemine Walking Catfish..they're not like those so-called walking catfish from Florida, that just kinda slither along on their bellies using their front sir, the Plaquemine Catfish actually climbs out of the water and gets up on his hind fins and strolls along just like a little Aunt Clotile used to feed a bunch of 'em off her back porch..she'd go out there with kitchen scraps and call'em and here they'd come a waddlin' along fast as their little fins could carry 'em... Uncle Bodine claimed he saw one climb a cypress tree one time, but he was always tellin' big tales just to see if anybody would believe 'em, so you couldn't always take what he said as the gospel truth..
