Thanks Poppy. I have never seen this flower before either, nor heard of the name, Bomarea. The bit at the top of the flower sort of looks like a Fritillaria, so that's why I thought it maybe that. But alas, it is not. Anyway, we know now what the plant is, so all is well. Many thanks, Poppy. And btw, Eeyore, this a beautiful flower and picture. Many thanks for posting. Eeyore had Bomarea in the caption but also I googled it because I had never seen this flower before... It's Bomarea alright. ;-)

Well, I think I might answer my own question here because I now know after looking online, that this is not a Fritillaria. The plant here is from the Alstroemeriaceae family, whereas the Fritillaria is from the Liliaceae family. Thanks anyway... :)
