Somewhere I have both National Geographics. The 1979 issue and the newer one. Believe me it's her, and if you lived in Afghanistan all of your life you'd have unbelieveable premature aging as well. This woman is 35 and she looks like she's 60. It's an unbelieveably hard life, especially for women who are regarded as nothing more than property.

the NG team finally found her living near torabora, the forensic team did a iris matching program on her eyes, same woman, now married with three children. it was on dish tv tonight matter o' fact...

i have to say, even the eyes aren't quite the same. i say these are two different people.

If she was 17 when the first pic was taken, then that means that she is still developing. I think it is her.

Hmmmmm, I'm confused about this one, the nose is so different. Can't see her being able to afford plastic surgery nor did she need it. I always thought broken noses spread out more, not hook down at the tip. Hmmmm.

Wider chin, lips are not the same, nose is not the same, broken or not. I'm sure they thought it was the same girl but it's not. trust me, im always right. lol

A nose-job maybe? Or abusive husband? Or some freak accidents? Or the way the afghan girls become when they got old? :p

But what happened to her nose?

I've seen this on Oprah's, the photographer look for the same girls after many years, and he found it again, only this time older and me think its more depressed..
