Patito: Don't try that side of the argument. Apparently Obama's not the only one whose pay grade is too low to understand it. The most basic economic theory would tell you that you and your Polyester Messiah are dead wrong. Geithner and his marxist principles have put this country in a whole new league of debt. Thanks for electing him, dork.
One definition of 'crazy' ( insanity) is trying the same thing over and over thinking it will work when it has failed over and over again. Conservative economic theory essentially boils down to "cut taxes and deregulate markets," and that was national policy for almost a decade. So now, largely because of the absence of regulation of markets, we're in the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, and what brilliant new ideas do the conservative Republicans suggest to fix things? Tax cuts and deregulation of markets ! Talk about crazy...and how about stupid on top of that !
Ever since "B Bouts" showed up on to the scene I have chosen to use "A Bouts" to poke fun at the new administration here in the U.S. I know that when Patito starts to use foul language, compares things to Nazis or tries to interject race it's time to tone it down.
So now I know. I will not comment on the content because I leave politics (and religion) alone. Not for lack of opinions - and I even have a little knowlege to back my opinions - but for the simple reason that I have never been able to persuade anyone to changer his or her mind on those two subjects. - I do enjoy seeing the two of you battle it out, though, so please carry on. ;-)
So many things to list. So as a disclaimer to Patito this is a short simplified list. His need to socialize everything on wall street. He is apparent hatred of the free market. His double speak, saying one thing on Mon. and another on Tues. His inexperience. He is only book smart. His ideas stretch no further than the book he just got through reading. His fake outrage over the AIG bonuses that he knew about before they were made public. Last but not least, it makes Patito crazy-er ;-)
Look at you and your Lard Ass messiah, Jabba the Rush, whining and whimpering and having tantrums like a bunch of goddamn cry-babies while better men are trying to clean up the mess you made.
When I was a student we learned debate and public speaking...the use of notes, typically index cards, was common practice...you think Bush didn't use some kind of prompter? Of course he did..so did the Great Communicator, Ronald "Bonzo" Reagan... one of the reasons poor old George always sounded so clueless and stupid was that the poor dumb bastard couldn't even read from his prompter or his notes !!!
