You've got it, Connie! The so-called poems by the troll White River were sooooooo bad that I had to raise the game, hehheh.

A Surprise Of Aspens Among cedars maples alders and the occasional fir a sudden aspen cluster surprises A burst of sun a waft of autumn zephyr awaken a splash of gold among aspens a flash of memories Flaxen leaves fall against the backdropp of cerulean skies and bring forth past perfume and thoughts A whisper on the wind and I can scarcely breathe Regis Auffray

There is, however, no honor among trolls. Nor courage, nor class, nor very much wit or intelligence. Which is why their attempts to post clever comments wind up just making them sound stupid.

Here on the Gulf Coast fall is the best time of year, hands down...there is blessed relief from the sweltering, steaming, suffocating heat and humidity of summer, college football on tv, and an excuse to cook a turkey.

Autumn Fires In the other gardens And all up the vale, From the autumn bonfires See the smoke trail! Pleasant summer over And all the summer flowers, The red fire blazes, The grey smoke towers. Sing a song of seasons! Something bright in all! Flowers in the summer, Fires in the fall! Robert Louis Stevenson
