Could be some type of wild flower. My dad had a wild flower collection going one year. had a little spot up behind the house cleared out for them. He would be driving down the road stop get out of the car grab one he liked bring it home and plant it in that spot. :-)

Looks like kniphofia (red hot poker) only that's red orange and yellow

I think they would not be considered flowers, but a type of plant. I've seen that type of plant on Google images, but I can't remember the name.
