Either way... At least we get a cool picture WITH meaningful comments/tags. These plants do not appear to be native to the U.S., however I vividly recall seeing these seeds in my youth while living in florida. Not sure how many plants have seeds that are red and black like this. Good thing I never tried breaking one open.

The comments with the photo are wrong. Ricin was used to kill a Bulgarian dissident, not a Soviet spy.
