I own a book titled"Men At Work", a collection of photographs by Lewis W. Hine. Most of the book is devoted to the construction of the Empire State Building. One photo looks down on the crew working on the dirigible mooring mast which tops that structure. Supergoose, your observation about the "compact" camera is the same as mine every time I view Hines work. My first thought was that photo might be taken by Hine or else be of Hine himself.
