This is an old sandstone-cutting mill, just north of Seneca Creek in Maryland, along the C&O Canal. It is built out of the same Seneca Sandstone blocks that it produced. The Smithsonian Castle building in Wash. D.C. is made of this, along with the "Brownstones" of NYC and other East Coast cities.
