Apparently the biggest book-burning in East German history was when the wall came down and the capitalism moved in - libraries/warehouses etc filled with classics etc were simply pulped in favour of material that was easier to sell.
This photo must surely have been taken during the collapse of Communism, when there was a free-for-all for the State's possessions? I do not believe it is a recent photo. Please give details Jchip8!
