JS is right..this thing is about 25 miles from Mexico City, and nobody knows who built it..some archeologists believe it may have been a focal point for several different groups, a kind of pre-Columbian New York City...and not just pre-Columbian, but pre-Toltec, Mixtex, Mayan and the rest..and of course everybody was pre-Aztec, who were the Johnny-come-latelys of ancient Mexico..the only culture more ancient than Teotihuacan was the Olmec, which seems to have been the original, seminal pre-Columbian culture in Mexico.

Temple somewhere? dude! is not a temple is the Pyramid of the Sun and is not somewhere is in mexico. Not aztec, not mayan, not zapotec, not toltec. no one knows who built it
