It's from silver, I've seen several pictures. There is an Audi6 also, with silver body and costs about $3mil, because the silver cannot be used just as it is (it's too weak as metal) and has to be alloyed with nickel. Imagine that doors and hoods can be custom made easily from another metal, but the whole body of the car...??? It's just a typical expression of frustration that rich people need somehow to overcome, by spending obscene amounts of money for something useless but to their ego. Who cares about it? The arabs got rich out of nothing because of us, the rest of the so called civilized world, because of our race for fossil fuels. When the technology will not use oil anymore, you will see the arabs begging for food, because they cannot make food out of oil.

Definitely not gold. With the weight of gold, and this being a sports car, it's supposed to be lightweight to be fast. It would be REALLY stupid to make the body from one of the heaviest metals known to man. I've seen a Jaguar done like this before, on the Top Gear automotive TV program. This was done to showcase a LIGHTWEIGHT aluminum body, that coupled to the powerful engine makes this a really fast car.

You can believe your "information" but I'm telling you, it was simply stripped of paint, polished, and clear coated. Just like lots of other cars in the Emirates... This picture is from a set that hit the internet last year.

the only end time this may point to is that on the speedometer ... there is unfortunately a maximum below the speed of sound.

Not even close to one million. It's a regular Mercedes SLR with a clearcoated polished aluminum finish.
