Well, LL, you've revealed to us that you don't know diddly squat about bull riding. That rope is called a flank rope, and is NOT tied around any part of the bull's genitalia. In fact, it is frequently fleece lined to prevent any chance of irritation. Its purpose is to encourage the bull to extend his hind quarters while bucking. Rodeo bucking stock, both horses and bulls, are expensive, well-cared for, and live lives of comparative leisure. An eight second work day would sound pretty good to most folks. Second, anybody who has actually been around real working cowboys and is familiar with their customs, habits and behavior would know that no cowboys would behave like those in that Brokeback Mountain picture show. Not when they had all those sheep.

If I had my bits tied up in a strong rope, there is no way that that BrokeBack Mountain Fruitcake would stay on my back!!
